Which one pays for what

At the visit
How we bill when you have both
- 01
We bill your insurance first
If you have a vision plan or medical insurance, the office bills it for the part it covers and tells you what is left.
- 02
The plan covers the exam when they do not
If your vision plan has already paid for an exam this year, or you have none, the household plan covers the exam.
- 03
You get one itemized receipt
Every visit ends with a receipt that shows what each payer was billed. Send it to a plan that reimburses you.
Our policy
Your prescription is yours
Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere. Joining a plan does not oblige you to buy glasses or contact lenses from us.
Not sure how your benefits fit?
Liz checks your benefits where she can before your visit and tells you what she finds.
